Charitable Giving and Holiday Event
Charitable Giving presented by Philip Burke, Partner at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP
This program will review current charitable giving techniques and options, deductibility issues with regard to gifts of different types of assets and related income tax restrictions. The program will also review the updated charitable giving opportunities (and limitations) under the “OBBB” recently passed by Congress. Finally, the program will address the use, and usefulness, of various types of charitable trusts, the effect of changing interest rates on these trusts, and their application to lifetime and testamentary planning.
